
According to the press service of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights, the defective car was replaced with a new vehicle. This was reported by Upl.uz.
According to the committee's investigation, a citizen purchased an "Onix Premier" model car from the "Asacar" car dealership for 221,640,000 soums and paid 50 percent as an initial payment. During a technical inspection for installing a gas cylinder on the car, paint damage was detected on some parts of the car body.
Regarding this issue, the citizen contacted the car dealership, but they refused to replace the car with a new one. As a result of the citizen's appeal to the committee, the situation was examined with the participation of "UzAvto Motors" joint-stock company, and the defect was confirmed.
At the conclusion of the inspection, it was reported that the car dealership provided the consumer with a new car and covered a total of 10,500,000 soums in expenses related to the car. This case once again proved the importance of protecting consumer rights and providing quality service.
