Xiaomi unveiled its new hybrid crossover and revolutionized service

Xiaomi has unveiled its new hybrid crossover, the Sky Nomad N70 Max, in the automotive market. One.uz reports.
This vehicle stands out not only for its spacious interior, modern technological features, and affordable price, but also for its revolutionary approach to maintenance. Specifically, the internal combustion engine of this hybrid model requires servicing only once every three years.
This figure is significantly higher than that of conventional gasoline or standard hybrid vehicles, substantially reducing operating costs for drivers. Innovations in technical maintenance The extended interval for oil changes is not without reason.
Xiaomi engineers, in collaboration with Shell, developed a special low-viscosity motor oil. This oil is specifically tailored for engines that function as electric generators.
Unlike conventional vehicles, the internal combustion engine in the Sky Nomad N70 Max does not directly drive the wheels. It serves solely to charge the battery, ensuring the unit operates in a consistent mode and slowing down its wear process.
Range and power efficiency The crossover is designed to operate primarily as a full electric vehicle. Its rear-wheel-drive version is equipped with a 76 kWh battery, allowing it to travel up to 505 kilometers without consuming gasoline.
With a fast-charging system, the energy reserve can be restored in just 18 minutes. This enables users to avoid using the internal combustion engine for daily urban driving.
Operating principle of the hybrid system When the battery power drops, a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine kicks in. This motor is dedicated solely to generating electricity.
The system's efficiency exceeds 44%, allowing for the generation of 4 kWh of energy per liter of fuel. With a 68-liter fuel tank and a fully charged battery, the car can cover a total distance of 1,500 kilometers.
The price of this new model in the Chinese market is expected to start at 260,000 yuan.
