Cybertruck failed as a vehicle designed for the apocalypse
The Tesla Cybertruck, presented by Elon Musk as an "apocalypse-resistant" vehicle, failed to capture the attention of survival experts and specialists. Instead of the promised "invincibility," it turned out that this vehicle is unreliable and unsuitable for extreme conditions.

The Cybertruck, which has a "very tough" steel body, proved to be weak due to its aluminum frame deforming under load and the susceptibility of steel parts to rust. Additionally, many electronic devices in the vehicle render it useless without electrical networks.

Survival expert Daisy Luther emphasizes that complex technologies require repairs that are impossible in field conditions, especially after an electromagnetic pulse. NASA engineer Arthur Bradley noted that while the vehicle's body might withstand light weaponry, this advantage does not compensate for significant drawbacks like battery depletion far from charging stations. The lack of solar panels makes the 480-kilometer power reserve a problem.

Competitors, such as the Rivian R1T, which has proven its durability in rugged conditions, have surpassed Tesla in the electric vehicle segment for the apocalypse. Overall, survival experts emphasize a preference for simpler vehicles that can be easily repaired in the field, like the old Jeep, in apocalyptic conditions.
