New service launched for online replacement of vehicle license plates

A new convenience has been created for car owners through the Unified Interactive Government Services Portal. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Citizens now have the opportunity to submit applications remotely, online, for the replacement of damaged or unusable state license plates of their vehicles. This innovation helps drivers save time and avoid unnecessary inconveniences.
The procedure for using this service has been designed to be very simple and clear. To do so, the user must be registered on the portal and fill out a special electronic form in the corresponding section.
To ensure that the application is reviewed by specialists quickly and without errors, a clear photograph of the damaged license plate must be uploaded to the system. After the application is reviewed and approved, an invoice for payment is sent to the user's personal cabinet.
Once the established payment amount is fully paid, the citizen needs to visit the selected territorial road safety department. There, they hand over the old, unusable license plate and receive a newly manufactured replacement. Service prices are set in accordance with current legislation.
Specifically, replacing the full set of state license plates, that is, the front and rear, requires payment equal to 4.5 times the basic calculation amount. If only one license plate needs to be replaced, the payment amount is slightly less than 2.5 times the basic calculation amount.
The introduction of such digital services helps make communication between government agencies and citizens more transparent and efficient.
