Geely revealed the characteristics of the new Galaxy M7 hybrid crossover
Geely company has revealed the main technical characteristics of the new Galaxy M7 hybrid crossover. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This car has been specially designed to significantly reduce fuel consumption and to cover an extraordinarily long distance on a single charge and a full tank. The new model is intended for drivers who prefer to use electric power for daily needs but also do not want to forgo the convenience of a petrol engine on long trips.
The Galaxy M7 falls into the category of mid-size crossovers. Its length is 4,770 millimetres, and its wheelbase is 2,785 millimetres.
In appearance, the car embodies the modern design style characteristic of Geely's Galaxy series. Under the car's hood is a hybrid system consisting of a 1.5-litre internal combustion engine producing 112 horsepower and a powerful electric motor.
The main advantage of this crossover is its driving range. According to the manufacturer, the car is able to travel up to 225 kilometres using only electric power.
With a fully charged battery and a filled fuel tank, the total driving range reaches 1,730 kilometres. The model is also equipped with an advanced thermal management system and has the ability to rapidly recharge electric power.
The crossover also demonstrates high indicators on the issue of economy. An average fuel consumption of 3.35 litres per 100 kilometres of distance has been recorded.
This confirms the company's efforts to improve energy efficiency. Sales of the new crossover are expected to begin on the Chinese market in April of this year.
It is presumed that in its category it will enter into serious competition with models such as the BYD Song Plus DM-i.
