Chevrolet unveiled the new Corvette Grand Sport sports car

Chevrolet has officially unveiled the new interpretation of the eighth-generation sports car — the Corvette Grand Sport model. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This vehicle has taken its place between the standard Stingray and the powerful Z06. The manufacturer characterizes this new offering as a model that embodies the racing spirit but is adapted for use on everyday roads.
Also, this sports car became the first platform on which General Motors' new 6.7-liter naturally aspirated LS6 V8 engine was installed. In terms of exterior, the Grand Sport has borrowed many details from the Z06 model.
Examples include the widened body, aggressive-looking bumpers, and a system of four exhaust pipes. Buyers are offered coupe-style targa as well as roadster with an open top variants.
In addition, Chevrolet created the option to select unique rear graphics, an updated spoiler, and carbon fiber aerodynamic parts through a special package. The car's interior has been updated in the 2025 Corvette style, featuring a three-screen front panel and a simplified center console design.
The interior trim offers a new blue color theme, and in the special limited series there are red elements and distinctive patterns on the headrests. The main technical novelties are located under the hood.
The new 6.7-liter engine produces 542 horsepower and 705 Nm of torque. This engine has replaced the previous 6.2-liter unit.
Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Also presented is a Grand Sport X hybrid version, which has a total of 731 horsepower.
Although the car's acceleration figures have not yet been announced, the manufacturer confirmed that controllable shock absorbers are standard on all models. Buyers can order an enhanced braking system and special tires for an additional fee.
Production of the new models will be set up at the Bowling Green plant.
