The system for selecting and purchasing vehicle license plates has been improved

The system for issuing state license plates for cars in Uzbekistan has been fundamentally improved. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

From now on, drivers can carry out the processes of selecting and purchasing their preferred number combinations remotely through the dedicated AvtoRaqam mobile application. The main aim of this update is to reduce the human factor in the number issuance process and to ensure full transparency of the system.

The application gives users the opportunity to monitor available numbers in real time and to quickly reserve the option they prefer. The procedure for obtaining ordinary state license plates has also changed.

Such numbers are now issued based on the principle of random selection by means of a special computer program. This serves to prevent any manifestations of cronyism or corrupt situations.

Since all processes have been transferred to electronic form, citizens wishing to obtain a number can achieve their goals without unnecessary trouble. The system is equally open to both individuals and legal entities, as well as to stateless persons residing in our country.

According to the new procedure, the previously operating complex auction system and the increased tariff rates set for certain types of numbers have been abolished. This innovation has created great convenience for car owners both economically and in terms of time.

The mobile application designed for choosing a number can be downloaded onto all types of smartphones. The introduction of this system is an important step on the path of digitalizing government services and takes the relationship between drivers and the relevant authorities to a new stage.
