The new Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport model has been officially unveiled

Chevrolet has finally officially unveiled the new generation of the Corvette Grand Sport model. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The new car was shown to the public for the first time during the famous twelve-hour race week held in the city of Sebring. The vehicle also took part in a ceremonial parade dedicated to Corvette models from various eras, surprising fans who had been awaiting the official debut after many months of waiting.
This news has sparked great interest in the world of cars. The new Grand Sport model has fully preserved the classic appearance characteristic of its historical name.
At the presentation, the car was shown in dark blue colour. A wide black racing stripe runs along the centre of its body, and red colour accents are noticeable in the rear wheel areas.
This model features an enlarged body structure derived from the E-Ray and Z06 versions. The car also has four centre-mounted exhaust pipes, a newly designed front splitter and a sharp-edged rear spoiler.
The carbon fibre element located in the middle part of the front bumper serves as the main mark distinguishing it from the current Corvette models. As for the technical characteristics, Chevrolet engineers have placed a new 6.7-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine under the hood.
This power unit is equipped with a direct and port fuel injection system and is expected to produce about 550 horsepower. With this figure, the Grand Sport model takes a worthy place between the 495-horsepower Stingray and the 670-horsepower Z06 models.
Although full technical data is scheduled to be announced at the end of March, experts predict that this version will become one of the most sought-after models in its line. In addition, reports have emerged that Chevrolet is also preparing a Grand Sport X variant that may replace the hybrid E-Ray model.
In this version, an electric motor responsible for driving the front wheels and an all-wheel drive system will be combined. Such a technological solution allows increasing the car's total power up to 721 horsepower.
This, in turn, offers sports car enthusiasts new opportunities for speed and dynamics.
