Geely unveiled the new Galaxy Star 8 Voyager model
Geely company has presented to the wider public the technical specifications and official images of its new flagship sedan, the Galaxy Star 8 Voyager model. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This updated car stands out with its advanced technologies and conveniences. According to approximate calculations, the price of the new model is expected to be from 160 to 180 thousand yuan.
This indicator shows that it is slightly more expensive than the standard Galaxy Star 8 model but considerably cheaper than the Toyota Camry on the Chinese market. One of the most important novelties in this car is Geely's new-generation battery called Shield Gold Brick.
Thanks to this power source, the car has gained the ability to cover a distance of up to 225 kilometres on electric power alone. When fuel and electric power are taken together, the car's driving range reaches a record-level 1,725 kilometres.
Particular attention has also been paid to the issue of safety: even in the most basic trim, a special system has been installed to ensure stability in the event of a tyre puncture. This system helps the driver not to lose control of the car even at a speed of 160 kilometres per hour.
The Galaxy Star 8 Voyager model is equipped with an assisted driving system called Qianli Haohan H5, which performs the function of an autopilot in city conditions. A total of 27 sensors serve for the perfect operation of the system, including a laser scanner, three millimetre-wave radars, 11 high-definition cameras and 12 ultrasonic sensors.
According to the manufacturers, when the intelligent driving system is engaged, a special blue light is illuminated on the car's body. The car's interior is also a combination of particular luxury and technology.
Inside is installed a Flyme Sound audio system with a power of 2,000 watts, consisting of 23 speakers. Multi-function electric seats with extended cushions are provided for passengers and the driver.
These seats have functions of heating, ventilation and massage and provide a high level of comfort. For the Voyager model, Geely also offers new interior trims and unique body colours.
