Aero-taxi test successfully conducted in Britain
Aero-taxi developed by the company Vertical Aerospace, the VX4, was tested outdoors for the first time in Britain, as reported by Auto.mail.ru.

The VX4 prototype, equipped with an electric engine, can take off and land vertically. The test flight was conducted in the Cotswolds region located in the southwest of England. A local airport runway was used for takeoff.

In February, Russian Transport Minister Roman Starovoyt announced that aerotaxis would be supported over Russian cities. He emphasized that the ministry is working to create opportunities for Russians to freely and conveniently use such technology.

Maxim Kalyagin, chief designer of the "Drones Center" in the "Aero-mobility" department of the Moscow Aviation Institute, noted that aerotaxis should primarily be used on routes connecting airports.

According to him:
• Aero-taxis should be launched on profitable routes.
• For example, flights between airports are considered such.
• If a multimodal delivery system is used, such flights could be cheaper.
