Mercedes-AMG Unveils New Electric Coupe With 1,153 hp

Mercedes-AMG company officially unveiled its new fully electric GT 4-Door Coupe model to the general public. Zamin.uz reported this.
This modern car completely abandons the brand's traditional eight-cylinder engines or hybrid systems, being based on a specially developed new electric platform. Regarding the body type, there are various opinions among specialists, and while it can be officially called a four-door coupe, its exterior appearance resembles a fastback style.
In terms of rear trunk opening style, it is similar to a liftback. The most powerful version of the new model, the GT 63 4Matic+, is equipped with three electric motors, which together produce 1153 horsepower and 2000 Nm of torque.
Thanks to these high specifications, the car can accelerate from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.1 seconds. The vehicle's maximum speed is limited to 300 kilometers per hour.
Additionally, a slightly less powerful version with 805 horsepower, the GT 55, is also offered to customers. The electric vehicle is equipped with a 106 kWh capacity battery and an 800-volt high-voltage system.
With this advanced technology, the vehicle can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 11 minutes. Just 10 minutes of charging allows the car to travel another 460 kilometers.
With a full charge, it can travel approximately 700 kilometers. The special active suspension system and controllable rear wheels also ensure the vehicle's stability on the road and driving comfort.
The car interior is equipped with modern technologies, including a digital instrument panel for the driver, a large multimedia screen, and a separate display for passengers. To preserve familiar sensations for drivers, engineers have also implemented a system that mimics engine sounds and a virtual transmission shifter function.
This new model will mainly compete on the global market with strong rivals such as the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT.
