Volkswagen will introduce two new hybrid models this month.

The SAIC Volkswagen joint venture is preparing to introduce two new hybrid models to the automotive market in the coming days. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The official presentation of these cars, named the Passat ePro and Tiguan L ePro, is scheduled for May 29 of this year. The new models are expected to attract the attention of industry experts and buyers with their high level of efficiency and modern technological solutions.
International publications have shared information regarding this news. Both new cars are built on the same technical base, equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and a powerful electric motor.
Additionally, the cars are equipped with a special transmission and a battery with a capacity of twenty-two kilowatt-hours. While the internal combustion engine provides power equivalent to one hundred twenty-nine horsepower, the electric motor's power amounts to one hundred ninety-seven horsepower.
According to the manufacturer's data, the Passat ePro model is capable of traveling nearly one thousand five hundred kilometers on a full charge. The Tiguan L ePro crossover shows a similar result in this regard, designed for long-distance trips with a single charge and fuel fill.
The exterior of the Passat ePro model has been completely updated, fully complying with modern design principles. The front of the car features a unified light strip and an illuminated brand logo.
The car's dimensions have been significantly expanded, creating additional comfort for passengers in the cabin. Inside the car, the main focus is on digital technologies.
Three large screens are located on the front panel, providing the driver with all necessary information and allowing control of the multimedia system. The Tiguan L ePro crossover, in turn, embodies new design elements characteristic of electrified vehicles.
New types of lighting and uniquely styled bumpers are noticeable in its exterior. The interior of the crossover is also equipped based on modern requirements, creating all comforts for the driver and passengers.
In particular, the newly designed steering wheel and specially developed comfortable seats for the front passenger serve to reduce fatigue during the journey. These models are expected to further strengthen Volkswagen's position in the hybrid vehicle market.
