Sales of the Cobalt in Uzbekistan have fallen by nearly 40%
In the Uzbekistan automobile market, a significant decline in sales figures of the Cobalt model, which has been leading for many years, is being observed. Zamin.uz reported this.

In the first half of the current year, about 41 thousand vehicles of this type were sold, which is 26.6 thousand less compared to the same period last year. Such a decrease indicates a reduction of approximately 40 percent in market share.

Specialists explain this situation by the strengthening competitive environment in the automobile market of our country and the expansion of choice opportunities for consumers. Cobalt has held a leading position in the affordable cars segment for many years.

Its popularity was not only due to its technical perfection, but also due to the relative affordability of its price and the lack of other alternative options in the market. However, the situation has fundamentally changed in recent times.

Currently, buyers are showing more interest in models equipped with modern technologies such as Onix and Tracker, as well as cars of foreign brands like Kia Sonet and BYD. These models are attracting consumer attention with various price categories and expanded capabilities.

When analyzing the overall market situation, it can be seen that UzAuto company's share has also decreased from 82.4 percent to 77.6 percent within a year. These figures indicate that the automotive industry and trade in Uzbekistan is entering a new stage.

The increase in consumer demand and the emergence of new participants in the market naturally reduces the dependence on a single model. Now, when choosing a car, not only its price, but also the level of comfort, modern features, and fuel efficiency have become key criteria.
