General Motors has announced a new project dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Chevrolet brand in Brazil – Chevrolet Vintage. Within this project, classic Chevrolet cars produced in Brazil from the 1960s to the 1990s will be restored and modernized.
The project will be carried out in two directions:
Restoration – restoring cars to their original condition
Restomod – adding modern technologies to classic cars
At the center of attention are the Chevrolet Opala, Chevette, Monza, and the famous Chevrolet 3100 "Brasil" pickup, all of which will be restored and certified by GM Brazil's engineering department.
The project is aimed at collectors and Chevrolet enthusiasts, ensuring the return of vintage cars to the roads. The restored cars will not only be collector's items but will also be more convenient for everyday use due to modern technologies.
