Roma club decided to say goodbye to Irishman Ferguson

Italy's famous Roma football club has decided to part ways with Irish striker Evan Ferguson as it seeks to further strengthen its squad. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Last summer, after Uzbek striker Eldor Shomurodov was loaned to Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir, a talented forward from English club Brighton was proposed to fill his spot. However, the Romans failed to achieve the expected success from this transfer, and the player's career in Italy did not unfold as planned.
According to statistics, the 21-year-old forward appeared in a total of twelve matches across all competitions, managing to score only five goals and provide two assists. The situation was further complicated by the player suffering a serious injury.
Due to a severe foot injury, it is certain that Ferguson will miss the remainder of the season and has traveled to Great Britain for surgery. It is worth noting that at the beginning of his career, he had drawn significant attention with his outstanding performances in the English Premier League.
However, persistent injuries, particularly torn cruciate ligaments and other health issues, have hindered his development. Consequently, the club's management has decided not to exercise their option to fully purchase the player and is preparing to return him to his parent club after the season ends.
