She said that she made this decision inspired by the talks of Shaykh Rahmatullah Termizi on the topic of “Mahr and marriage.” The singer emphasized that the Shaykh mentioned it is natural for educated and intellectual girls to have a valuable mahr.
Additionally, she noted that she could have asked for even more regarding the mahr. Dilnoz Hakimova stressed that by making this decision, she does not need the mahr for herself, but intends it to serve for her children's weddings in the future.
