The widow of rapper Andy Cartwright sentenced to 12.5 years

The court sentenced rapper Andy Cartwright's widow, Marina Kochal, to 12.5 years in prison. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Marina Kochal was found guilty of killing her husband and desecrating his body. This sentence was reported by the Pravilamag publication.

The lawyer of the late rapper's relatives, Anton Kobit, commented on the verdict as follows: “We are pleased that the court has made a fair decision. Marina Kochal needed to be isolated from society.

This decision is in accordance with the principles of justice.” It should be recalled that Andy Cartwright's dismembered body was found in an apartment in Saint Petersburg in July 2020. According to the investigation, on July 29, during an altercation, Marina Kochal injected the rapper with an insulin analog, causing his death.

After that, she dismembered the deceased's body. Marina Kochal denied her guilt during the trial.

She claimed that Cartwright died as a result of excessive drug use. She asserted that she took such actions to hide her husband's death from his fans.

Nevertheless, the court found her guilty and imposed the appropriate punishment.
