
Paramount studio has resumed work on the popular "Rush Hour" film series starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
It is reported that the film "Rush Hour 4" will be produced by Paramount. This project was previously planned by Warner Bros.
but due to issues related to director Brett Ratner, it remained unfulfilled for 18 years. Now Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker will once again bring to life the characters of Inspector Lee and Detective Carter.
Interestingly, former US President Donald Trump is involved in the revival of the project. According to the Semafor publication, Trump pressured Paramount CEO David Ellison to revive popular action and comedy films from the 80s and 90s.
Filming is expected to begin next year, but the exact release date has not yet been announced. The previous trilogy earned $850 million worldwide.
Despite being 71 years old, Jackie Chan says he will not give up dangerous stunts. This raises hopes that the new film will be even more exciting.
