It has been officially confirmed that Yeva Green will play a significant role in the third season of the popular Netflix series “Wednesday.” This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The actress will portray Ofelia Frump, one of the main characters in the series. Ofelia is Morticia Addams’ sister, and viewers will remember her as the blonde girl in a red dress who wrote “Wednesday must die” in blood on the wall at the end of the second season.
Ofelia is depicted as a “raven” with extremely strong psychic abilities. She was placed in a psychiatric clinic by her mother but later managed to escape from there.
Her light-colored hair, floral crown, and hostility towards Wednesday create a character that is completely opposite to Morticia’s gothic style. For Yeva Green, this role marks a return to her work in the dark genre.
She previously played similar roles in the series “Scary Tales” and “Ugly.” Additionally, this project is considered her next collaboration following her work with Tim Burton in the film “Dark Shadows.”
It is reported that the second season of “Wednesday” ranked fourth in Netflix history in terms of viewership, while the first season still holds the record at number one. The third season is currently being filmed, and the introduction of new, mysterious characters like Ofelia is expected to make the series even more exciting and eventful.
