The State Academic Grand Theater named after Alisher Navoi will present Pyotr Tchaikovsky's renewed "The Nutcracker" ballet. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The performance is scheduled for December 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 30, and 31. In 2023, the modern interpretation of "The Nutcracker" ballet was staged by director Maksim Petrov.
This new interpretation enriches the classic story, turning it into a vivid stage journey. It depicts everything from a family evening to legendary battles with the mouse army and cosmic fairy tales.
The musical part of the performance is led by conductor Alibek Qabdurahmonov. The stage decorations and costumes have been specially prepared to leave an even stronger impression on the audience.
Leading creative teams of Uzbekistan participate in this production. In particular, the Grand Theater's ballet troupe, the Uzbekistan National Symphony Orchestra, as well as the "Bulbulcha" children's choir and dance ensemble showcase their skills on stage.
