One of the most famous singers in Central Asia, Sevara Nazarxon is presenting her next solo three-day concert program at the "Humo Arena" palace. What news emerged during the live performance titled "Ruh"? A correspondent from "Daryo" prepared a report from the first day of the concert.
Sevara Nazarxon greeted her fans as she came out onto the round stage set in the heart of "Humo Arena". On a uniquely styled stage, decorated to resemble nature, a live orchestra performed alongside the singer.
— "Humo Arena" has become like my home. I also held a four-day concert here in 2019. Back then, the stage was on the side, but this time we created a 360-degree stage. Because the central stage brings everyone closer, I can see the eyes of the people. There is a magnet in the eyes. I searched for your eyes and found them. All emotions reach the heart and soul through the eyes. That’s why my concert is called “Ruh”. What gives us strength inside is this spirit. A simple yet very meaningful name, says the singer herself.
Unlike other artists, Sevara Nazarxon did not go behind the curtain after each block to prepare for a different image for a long time. She changed her appearance on stage with the help of just one stylist. This process went quickly and easily.
— I think everyone liked it. Because there’s no need to leave the stage and bore the audience. For us, everything is simple — I changed clothes frequently and just used simple accessories, that’s all. Anything extra distracts me, said Nazarxon.
The highlight of the concert was the duet sung with rapper Shohruh and the song “Ulug‘imsan, Vatanim”. Similarly, the songs “Meni sev”, “Ko‘rgim kelar”, “Yur, muhabbat” were almost sung by the audience themselves. The singer occasionally joined them, that’s all.
In the concert presented in 2019, Sevara Nazarxon sang a duet with the late singer Sherali Jo‘rayev. This year, the singer performed with the winners of the “Ovoz” and “X-Faktor” projects. So, where did this invitation come from?
— I invited them myself, the proposal also came from me. The concert at “Humo” was one idea, and there are more new ideas ready for the future. We will present them gradually.
I don’t consider them my students; they are very close to my heart! I also learn something from them. Today’s performances were an exchange of experience and collaboration between us. We didn’t rush, I showed them everything, and it was all rich in harmony. A 360-degree stage is not easy for them, but it felt small for me, says the singer.
Nazarxon performed several tricks during the concert, dancing to her unusual songs. Accompanied by dancers dressed in European style, she “flew” on stage, taking her audience along with her. The “Ruh” concert was truly calm yet full of energy.
— To be honest, I prepared for a week to learn the dances. I am “sick” of synchronized dancing. I know that some movements may not look similar, but we did it. The boys and girls around me worked for two months for me. Everything at the concert was done with movement, planning, and love. I worked in an atmosphere rich in love, she said.
When asked if she expected the concert to go this way, Nazarxon replied:
— After 50, I don’t use the word waiting; I don’t expect anything. I am endlessly grateful for how it turned out.
The song “Meni sev” was performed in a trio format: Sevara, little Sevara from the “Ovoz” project, and Nazarxon’s niece.
The “Humo Arena” palace, which can accommodate 12,000 fans, was filled with Sevara Nazarxon’s true fans. Tears were shed, and songs that came from the heart reached the hearts of many.
