New state benefits will be introduced for young families starting in 2027.

A new state policy is being implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at strengthening the institution of family and enhancing support for young people. Zamin.uz reported on this.
Starting from 2027, a special system of privileges and additional support will be launched for young families where both spouses are at least twenty-one years old and entering their first marriage. This initiative is designed to ensure family stability and further expand the state support provided to newly married couples.
If such families meeting these criteria are included in the Social Register in the future, the amount of financial assistance provided to them will increase significantly. According to currently applicable legal documents, subsidies, preferential loans, and grants will be one and a half times higher than usual.
This means that eligible households will have access to greater financial opportunities supported by the state compared to other recipients. The government is also actively working on another important incentive measure related to marriage contracts.
If couples sign a marriage contract before officially registering their marriage, they will be exempt from paying the state duty that is usually levied. These measures serve to encourage young people to build responsible families, further improve their legal and financial protection, and provide stronger support for households in need of social assistance.
As a result, young families are expected to build their future on solid foundations and contribute to the well-being of society.
