“A memorial evening dedicated to Shirin Abdullayeva was held”
On January 16, 2026, at the concert hall of the Uzbekistan Composers' Union building, a memorial evening titled “Unfinished Song” dedicated to the laureate of the State Prize named after Zulfiya and talented artist Shirin Abdullayeva took place. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The event was organized to commemorate the bright memory of the young creator and to introduce her rich creative legacy to the wider public. The event was held on the initiative of the Uzbekistan Composers' Union and was attended by members of the creative community, art historians, state and public figures, representatives of mass media, as well as art enthusiasts.

The evening began with an introductory speech dedicated to Shirin Abdullayeva’s life and work. Rustam Abdullayev, chairman of the Uzbekistan Composers' Union, spoke in detail about the late artist’s works, their creation process, and their significance in contemporary music.

One of the touching moments of the event was Rustam Abdullayev’s spiritual memory. He mentioned that Shirin Abdullayeva appeared in his dream playing the flute, and based on that musical motif, he created a piece.

This composition was performed for the first time at this evening and was warmly received by the audience. Shirin Abdullayeva’s family members and mentors also participated in the event, sharing heartfelt memories.

Her mother spoke about her daughter’s unique talent, emphasizing her dedication and responsibility towards her creative work. Several other examples from Shirin Abdullayeva’s artistic activity were also presented.

In particular, it was noted that she successfully prepared and performed eight songs in different languages within a short period for an event held in China. Additionally, her songs were performed in harmony with dance, turning into a complete artistic work.

At the conclusion of the event, Shirin Abdullayeva’s indelible mark on our national art and her bright legacy were acknowledged. For reference, Shirin Abdullayeva was born in 2005.

During her short but meaningful creative career, she was recognized as a singer and creator and successfully participated in international projects. In 2023, she was awarded the State Prize named after Zulfiya.

Unfortunately, the talented artist passed away in 2025 at the young age of only 19. The “Unfinished Song” memorial evening remains a tribute to Shirin Abdullayeva’s short but meaningful life dedicated to art.
