Valentino Garavani died in Rome at the age of 93

One of the most famous and prestigious designers of 20th-century fashion, Valentino Garavani, passed away at his home in Rome at the age of 93. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti Foundation released an official statement on social media. He peacefully passed away surrounded by his loved ones.
Valentino created a distinctive style and school in world fashion through the Valentino fashion house, which he founded in 1960. He reached the highest peaks of fashion alongside famous designers such as Giorgio Armani and Karl Lagerfeld.
The Valentino brand is known worldwide for its red color, known as “Valentino red.” It is said that the interest in this color arose during the designer’s trip to Spain.
Later, this red color became the symbol of the brand. Even when Valentino presented his final collection in 2008, red dresses were the main feature of the runway.
The farewell ceremony with the famous designer will take place in Rome at Piazza Mignanelli on January 21–22. The funeral service is planned to be held on January 23 at the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri.
