“Zveropolis 2” became the highest-grossing film in Disney history

The animated film “Zveropolis 2” produced by Disney has earned $1.7 billion worldwide, becoming the most successful animated movie in Hollywood history. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
With this amount, “Zveropolis 2” surpassed the previous record-holder, “Puzzle 2” ($1.69 billion). Nevertheless, the absolute global record belongs to China’s animated film “Nezha 2,” which maintains its lead with $2.25 billion in revenue.
This was reported by Variety magazine. With such earnings, “Zveropolis 2” rose to ninth place on the list of highest-grossing films of all time.
After its release in November, the film earned $559.5 million in its first five days, marking the most successful opening in the history of animated films. Overall, the film earned $390 million in North America and managed to collect $1.31 billion internationally.
Especially in China, the film was warmly received, achieving $619 million in revenue there. Additionally, “Zveropolis 2” was noted as the highest-grossing film in Disney’s history.
The film features the rabbit Judy Hopps and the fox Nick Wilde working together again. They try to uncover a mystery involving reptiles that could completely change life in the city of Zveropolis.
The film’s success in China has increased young people’s interest in reptiles. It has also been observed that viewers inspired by one of the film’s characters, the snake Gary, have started showing interest in purchasing reptiles.
