The film "The Bone Church" lost at the box office

The film “28 Years Later: The Bone Chapel” did not achieve the expected success in US cinemas. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film earned only 13 million dollars in its first three days. For comparison, the first part, released last June, started its run with 30 million dollars.
Experts believe that the low revenue of the new film was due to the very short time between the two parts. The second part was released only half a year after the first.
Nevertheless, the participation of Ralph Fiennes and the unexpected appearance of Cillian Murphy in the film may stabilize the audience flow in the coming weeks. Sony has stated that it has not abandoned plans to complete the trilogy.
The film was shot in Northumberland County and the Yorkshire Dales Valley in England. A huge chapel decoration made of bones was specially constructed for the film.
This decoration served to make the main scenes of the film even more impactful.
