Muhammadiso Abdulkhairov: "We are dividing ourselves, this is wrong"

Actor Muhammadiso Abdulxairov expressed strong opinions about the division of people in society based on regions and the harmful consequences of such an approach. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He criticized the habit of changing attitudes based on car license plates or a person's place of origin on the roads, considering this situation as a factor leading to societal division. According to the actor, the question "Where are you from?" is often not just innocent curiosity but serves to internally divide people.
Abdulxairov did not hide his dislike for this approach, noting that such questions harm unity in society. He also emphasized that a person's origin can often be evident from their appearance and proudly mentioned that he is from Uzbekistan.
According to Abdulxairov, if during a conversation someone learns his birthplace and says they are from the same region, the attitude may warm up. However, if another region is mentioned, attention or attitude might decrease.
This, the actor believes, unknowingly fosters nationalist sentiments. He also condemned the habit of judging people based on car license plates on the roads.
"We are dividing ourselves, this is wrong," he says. Abdulxairov reminded that children from all regions serve one Motherland and called on everyone not to divide each other in daily life.
He stressed that regardless of being from Fergana, Kashkadarya, or any other region, we must not forget that we are all Uzbeks.
