Ozoda Nursaidova acted in a film for the first time

A screenplay for a film was written based on singer Ozoda Nursaidova's songs "The Cry of a Sick Girl" from 2002 and "Not Yesterday 2" performed in 2006. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Initially, Ozoda Nursaidova herself was invited to play the lead role in this film. However, the singer stated that she does not act in films and believes that everyone should work in their own field.
In one of her interviews, when asked, "Why don’t you act in films?" she emphasized the importance of sincerely fulfilling one’s profession. Additionally, Ozoda Nursaidova revealed that she had received many offers for lead roles in various films but had declined all of them.
However, since the screenplay of this particular film was written very impressively, she agreed as an exception to participate in a small episode. The singer explained her decision as follows: "The director explained to me that the film was created exactly based on the song.
He said that the development of events and the plot’s content were inspired by the song and asked me to take part at least in a small role. I agreed to this.
While watching the film, I was very moved and even cried." Thus, Ozoda Nursaidova, remaining true to her principles, acted only in a small episode for this film. This once again demonstrates her responsibility towards her art and the impact of the screenplay.
