The Gorillaz group has announced their new short animated film and posted its trailer on their YouTube channel. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The full title of the cartoon is "The Mountain, The Moon Cave, and The Melancholy God." According to the plot, the members of Gorillaz go on a trip to the forest, and this trip unexpectedly turns into a terrifying adventure.

The premiere of the cartoon will take place on February 27 and it will be shown on the YouTube platform. This short film is inspired by Indian culture and is related to The Mountain group's new album.

The ninth studio album is scheduled to be released on March 20, 2026. The Gorillaz group is a British virtual band formed in 1998 by Blur vocalist Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett.

Their work encompasses various genres and is distinguished by a unique animated style. This cartoon is also expected to be another interesting project in their creative activity.
