During the conversation, the artist spoke from the heart about her son Jahongir's future, how he entered the path of art, and her views on choosing a daughter-in-law. The singer shared her dreams for her son Jahongir.
According to her, every profession has its own specific challenges. During his school years, her son was eager for knowledge and was one of the most active students in class.
Therefore, as a mother, she dreamed of her son becoming a diplomat in the future and often encouraged him to choose that path. However, Jahongir replied to his mother: "I can become a diplomat for your sake, but later I will regret it."
After hearing these words, the singer decided to respect her son's own wishes and interests. Guli Asalxojayeva also shared an example from her own life.
According to her, she had an interest in the field of art during her youth. Since her sister received higher education in the arts, she was taken to an institute with the aim of studying a different field.
Although she successfully passed the entrance exams there, she could not continue her studies due to her father's lack of approval. This situation remained in her heart as a certain regret.
Therefore, after getting married, new opportunities arose in her life. With the support of her husband, she was able to pursue education at an art university.
This experience taught her that children must be allowed to make free decisions. During the conversation, the singer also expressed her views on choosing a daughter-in-law.
She said that in previous interviews, she was often asked how she would feel if her sons married an artist. The singer admitted that she had thought a lot about this question.
Because there were concerns about whether a person working in the arts could also dedicate time to household chores. She stated that she lived an ordinary life at home like other women, cooking meals, doing housework, and even sweeping the yard.
When choosing a daughter-in-law, she emphasized that her first priority is to talk with the girl's mother. Because in her opinion, a daughter resembles her mother in many ways.
Even when Jahongir said he wanted to marry a girl named Asal, the singer first spoke with her mother. After seeing that the girl's mother was very sincere and a good person, she gave her consent to this marriage.
The singer said that her daughter-in-law turned out to be as well-mannered and kind as she had hoped. She is also active in household chores and knows how to cook meals.
Most importantly, her heart is pure and sincere. Guli Asalxojayeva stated that she currently has three daughters-in-law and is happy to consider them all as her own daughters.
