Famous Turkish actor Burak Deniz arrested in Istanbul
Sensational events continue to unfold in the Turkish show business world. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Famous Turkish actor Burak Deniz has been arrested as part of a large-scale police operation conducted in Istanbul. The actor is well-known among fans for his roles in numerous high-rated series and films.

This news has been confirmed by local media outlets. According to the decision made by the prosecutor's office, a preventive measure of detention has been applied to the suspects.

During the raids conducted so far, eleven out of fourteen individuals have been apprehended. It has become known that among those arrested is the famous rapper Ender Eroğlu, known as Norm Ender.

As a reminder, in April of this year, nine representatives of the show business and film industry were also detained in Turkey. Among them were well-known actors such as İbrahim Çelikkol, as well as famous singers like Bengü, Simge Sağın, and Melek Mosso.

These individuals are suspected of using, possessing, and distributing narcotic drugs. Anti-drug measures have been significantly intensified in Istanbul and other regions of Turkey over recent months.

Law enforcement agencies are regularly conducting raids to identify violations. Previously, several dozen people, including television journalists and bloggers, had been held accountable in connection with these cases.

In February, an Istanbul court issued a decision to suspend the operations of one of the five-star hotels on the Bosphorus coast. According to police data, members of the society's elite had been using narcotic drugs at this location.

The arrest of Burak Deniz has caused a major uproar in the Turkish art world. Various debates and discussions regarding this incident have erupted on social media.

Law enforcement agencies are continuing their investigative activities.
