Children's art school in Tashkent named after Farrux Zokirov

It has been decided that one of the children's music and art schools in Tashkent will be named after the renowned artist Farrux Zokirov. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
A relevant decree was signed by the President on February 15 of this year regarding this matter. According to the document, Children's Music and Art School No. 7, located in the Yashnobod district, will be named after the artist.
Such a measure is intended to widely promote the rich legacy of the famous artist and pass it on to the younger generation. Fundamentally new approaches will be introduced to the school's activities.
In particular, a children's ensemble named Yalla will be organized under the institution, and a special creative laboratory for young talents will be established. Additionally, master classes based on the traditions of mentor and apprentice will begin operating in the field of pop art.
Experienced artists teaching at these master classes will be incentivized from the state budget and paid a high monthly salary. This system will allow for the attraction of qualified specialists and an increase in the quality of education.
In the future, more specifically starting from the 2026 and 2027 academic years, talented children will be selected from all regions of Uzbekistan. Free courses in pop singing will be organized for these students, and they will gain knowledge in summer creative circles.
A sound recording and filming studio based on modern technologies will be built at the school. Furthermore, the institution will be provided with necessary stage equipment and special costumes.
The creative works of the students will be showcased on television channels and international online platforms. The Ministry of Culture has taken upon itself to fully provide the school with all necessary musical instruments, modern technical means, textbooks, and sheet music collections.
These measures serve to support young talents and develop national art.
