Gautam Adani has become the richest person on the Asian continent

The founder and head of India's Adani Group conglomerate, Gautam Adani, has once again become the richest person on the Asian continent. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He took this title from the head of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani. This information was reflected in the updated data of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index rating as of April 17.
Gautam Adani's total wealth amounted to 92.6 billion dollars, which allowed him to take 19th place in the world ranking and first place in Asia. Mukesh Ambani's wealth was estimated at 90.8 billion dollars, placing him in 20th position on the world list.
The increase in Adani's wealth was caused by the rise in the value of his company's shares. Since the beginning of the year, due to the growth in value of the shares of Adani Group's subsidiaries in the fields of energy, airports and port logistics, his personal wealth grew by 8.1 billion dollars. At the same time, during this period Ambani's wealth decreased by 16.9 billion dollars.
Third place in the list of Asia's richest people belongs to ByteDance founder Zhang Yiming, whose wealth is 68.7 billion dollars. On a global scale, the head of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk is far ahead. His wealth is estimated at 656 billion dollars. Second place is occupied by one of Google's founders, Larry Page, whose wealth is 286 billion dollars. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is in third place, with wealth reaching 269 billion dollars.
Among the world's richest people, the largest loss of wealth was suffered by LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault, whose financial value decreased by 44 billion dollars.
