Zohida Umarova emphasized the importance of raising children.

Famous Uzbek singer Zohida Umarova shared her views on family values, child upbringing, and in-law relationships. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
She openly explained why she maintains a certain distance in her relationship with the Minister of Culture, Ozodbek Nazarbekov. Raising children is every parent's most important duty.
Zohida Umarova emphasized that she is primarily satisfied with her children's upbringing. In her opinion, it is upbringing that elevates a person or brings them down.
Therefore, she always tries to control herself in front of her children. The singer said that her children's attention and gifts always make her happy.
However, she also admitted to feeling a bit uncomfortable when receiving gifts. Her children respect her and never act like "stars" in front of her.
An important question that intrigued many was whether Zohida Umarova would sing a duet with her in-law, Ozodbek Nazarbekov. The singer firmly answered "no" to this.
She stated that in-law relationships hinder such collaborations. Even if there were an offer, she clearly indicated she would not agree to take such a step.
Zohida Umarova also addressed some misunderstandings. There is no regular communication between her and Ozodbek Nazarbekov.
Even on holidays, they congratulate each other not by phone but only through messages. She explains this situation with a simple understanding—the boundary between a leader and an in-law must be maintained.
According to the singer, she deliberately maintains distance in her relationship with her in-law. The reason is that Ozodbek Nazarbekov is not only her in-law but also a responsible leader at the state level.
In such a situation, the woman herself must maintain the boundary. This is not only a matter of personal relationships but also a sign of respect and culture.
Zohida Umarova also said she does not approve of excessive pomp in family ceremonies. She emphasized that she is not interested in customs like the traditional "tog‘ora" (a ceremonial tray of gifts), and her dreams are not limited to such things.
For the singer, the most important things are sincerity and simplicity. She believes that true happiness lies not in noisy ceremonies but in peaceful and healthy relationships.
