Davron Ergashev Criticizes Colleagues Evading Taxes

Singer Davron Ergashev's views on tax payments have sparked intense discussions on social media, as reported by Zamin.uz. In his statement, the artist sharply criticized colleagues who, despite having high incomes, express dissatisfaction with paying dues to the state treasury.
He emphasized that members of the arts community, as part of society, must fully fulfill their legal obligations. Davron Ergashev specifically noted that his objections were not directed at all creators, but specifically at high-rated singers with high performance fees.
According to him, the set tax amount is not a significant burden for artists who charge more than six million soums for weddings and celebrations. Responding to negative comments on social media, the singer focused on the logical aspect of the matter.
The artist tried to explain the taxation system using simple examples. He stated that while small street vendors pay taxes on their income, it is shameful for artists earning large sums to object to this issue.
He stressed that if a singer receives a fee of around a thousand dollars for a single performance, paying a certain portion of it to the state should not pose any difficulty. Concluding his thoughts, Davron Ergashev stated that no further explanation was necessary.
Following this appearance, many users supported the artist's position, writing that there should be discipline and responsibility in the field. This situation was perceived as a fair approach both among representatives of the art world and the general public.
It is an essential condition for social stability that every citizen fulfills their legally established obligations based on their income.
