The final stage of the “Miss World – 2025” competition took place in Hyderabad, India, as reported by Nova24.uz. A total of 108 girls participated. In the end, the representative from Thailand, Opal Suchata Chuangsri, was declared the winner.
The 21-year-old beauty from Bangkok is studying international relations and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in politics and international relations. She manages a hotel business in Phuket and speaks Thai, English, Spanish, and Chinese.
Opal is also involved in human rights advocacy. At the age of 16, she underwent surgery to remove a benign tumor from her breast. This experience inspired her to launch a project called Opal For Her. The project aims to raise awareness about women's health and early diagnosis.
She began her career in the beauty industry in 2012 at the “Miss Rattanakosin” competition, but did not win. She participated in the “Miss Universe Thailand” competition in 2022 and 2024, winning several special awards — “Miss Charming Talent,” “Miss Beauty and Confidence,” as well as the main prize.
She secured third place in the 2024 “Miss Universe” international competition, but won the title in “Miss World” in 2025.
The second place went to the representative from Ethiopia, Hasset Dreej Admassu, and the third place was awarded to the representative from Poland, Maya Klayda.
