Lady Gaga set a record with 2.5 million viewers

Pop star Lady Gaga gathered 2.5 million spectators at her concert in Rio de Janeiro, setting the record for the largest concert among female artists, Ulysmedia.kz reported.

This free concert, held on May 3 at Copacabana beach, was included in the Guinness World Records as the most attended women's concert in history.

This record was previously set by Madonna during a concert held at the same location on May 4, 2024.

Lady Gaga's concert marked her first visit to Brazil after a 13-year hiatus. Her return turned into a true triumph. The scale of the show and the number of spectators exceeded all expectations.

At the same time, the absolute record for total audience remains with British Rod Stewart, who gathered over 3.5 million people at his New Year's concert held at the same location in 1994.
