The fifth meeting of the commission on cultural cooperation between the governments of Uzbekistan and Russia was held at the "Uzbekistan" forum palace in Tashkent.
During this event, the People's Artist of Uzbekistan, famous artist Farrux Zokirov was awarded the "Friendship" order of the Russian Federation.
For your information, previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized Farrux Zokirov and Sevara Nazarxon with this very award. This award is seen as a recognition of the artist's contribution to strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
