On the soil of Uzbekistan, efforts to restore our ancient history is being revived, the memory of our great ancestors who made a huge contribution to the development of world civilization is being immortalized, and creative work in this direction is being raised to a new level. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the presentation of major social and cultural projects planned for implementation in various regions of our country. Among these projects, the grand architectural complex being erected in the city of Bobur in Andijan region, as well as the statue of Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur to be installed in its center, holds special significance.
The main goal of creating this monument is to deeply instill in the younger generation the statecraft thinking, rich scientific and literary heritage, and unparalleled service to humanity of our great ancestor. In preparing the statue project, special attention is being paid to historical accuracy and high artistic skill.
The sketches presented to the head of our state are not merely products of imagination, but the result of many years of research conducted by Uzbek scholars in cooperation with foreign specialists. They reflect the true image of Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur based on ancient miniatures, rare manuscripts, and historical sources.
At the same time, a statue of Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur is also expected to be erected in Islamabad, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. During our President’s visit to this country, one of the beautiful residences in the capital was named after Bobur.
The presentation also reviewed in detail the project of the monument to be installed in this foreign garden. The leader of our state emphasized the importance of portraying Bobur not only as a poet, but also as a great commander, the founder of a powerful state, and a just ruler in the creation of the statues.
It was noted that his indomitable will and talent in state governance should be clearly reflected in the overall appearance of the monument.
In addition, during the presentation, other important issues related to the development of science and education and infrastructure were discussed.
In particular, specific tasks were set for improving the material and technical base of the international school-boarding school named after Abu Rayhon Beruniy, enhancing the tourism potential of the ancient city of Bukhara, and modernizing the transport system.
These projects will serve to further strengthen the cultural and economic potential of our country.
