Historical errors in the series "The Great Century" have been raised

However, a modern tractor appears in the background. This tractor is completely out of place for the 16th century.

Against the backdrop of beautiful decorations and elegant clothing, a simple staircase is conspicuously visible in the corner. This staircase appears to have not been removed after filming.

In the 16th century Ottoman Empire, staircases in their current form were not used; wooden stairs or other means took their place. Viewers accepted this situation humorously, speculating that perhaps Mihrimah Sultan tried to use this staircase to gather fruits.

This small error does not spoil the overall impression of the scene. One of the most discussed mistakes occurs in the palace's interior decorations.

An electrical switch is clearly visible on the wall in a scene with Hatice Sultan. Since there was no electrical network in that place, such a detail is considered anachronistic.

Viewers humorously suggested that Hatice Sultan might have pressed the switch to light the room instead of using candles. Additionally, in the same scene, the blue and pink blankets used for Hatice Sultan's babies were also shown to be not used in Muslim families of that era.
