Purpose indication has become mandatory in mobile transfers

The Central Bank has introduced the requirement for commercial banks and payment organizations to indicate the "purpose of transfer" in transfers made via mobile applications. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Now, when a user makes a card-to-card transfer, they must obligatorily select the purpose of the transfer. This list includes payments for goods, debt repayment, family transfers, charity, and 16 other main categories.
For example, if you select the "For gratitude" option, it will be recorded as a tip. The new system is expected to ensure transparency of transfers and help regulate economic processes.
This will allow for more precise monitoring and control of financial operations. At the same time, the new regulation may create convenience for citizens, as each transfer purpose will be clearly defined.
This innovation will help improve the quality of banking services and create a more reliable environment for customers. The Central Bank's rule is a step aimed at developing the economy and ensuring financial stability.
