Uzbekistan's economy will grow by 7 percent in 2026

The Center for Economic Research and Reforms has announced forecasts for Uzbekistan's economic development. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to it, the country's gross domestic product is expected to grow by 7 to 7.2 percent in the first quarter of 2026. The main factors driving this growth are increased business activity, development of the financial sector, and investments made in the industrial and service sectors.
According to national experts, this growth will occur due to the inertia from 2025, as Uzbekistan's economy recorded a 7.7 percent growth last year. As a result of economic reforms and efforts to attract investments in Uzbekistan, the main drivers of the economy are being formed.
These processes are expected to contribute to the stable development of the country's economy. Experts recommend developing strong strategies to see positive outcomes from this process.
As a result, Uzbekistan's economy can become competitive and stable, reaching a new level.
