The Central Bank announced significant changes in currency exchange rates

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan announced the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of February 19, 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to these rates, the US dollar decreased by 5.38 soms, reaching 12,132.48 soms. The euro also decreased by 19.72 soms, falling to 14,360.00 soms.
The Russian ruble slightly increased by 0.96 soms, reaching 159.09 soms. The British pound sterling decreased by 27.94 soms, amounting to 16,469.84 soms.
The Japanese yen also depreciated by 0.46 soms, reaching 78.92 soms. The Swiss franc decreased by 54.02 soms, equaling 15,725.83 soms.
The Chinese yuan also declined by 0.77 soms, dropping to 1,756.12 soms. These changes reflect the dynamics in the currency market and hold significant importance for the economy.
