Dollar exchange rate is expected to decrease in the Uzbekistan currency market

The US dollar exchange rate in the Uzbekistan currency market is expected to begin another period of decline. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to expert forecasts and market analysis, it is said that the dollar rate effective on April 20, 2026, may decrease by approximately 35-36 soums. The main reason for this trend is indicated as an increase in supply in the currency market and the stabilization of material resources.
Currently, the most favorable conditions for citizens intending to sell dollars in the banking system have been created at Anorbank and Universalbank. The selling rate for currency at these banks is 12,140 soums.
Additionally, dollar selling prices at financial institutions such as BRB and Garantbank are formed at the level of 12,130 soums, which ranks among the highest indicators in the market. For those wishing to buy dollars, Apexbank offers the most favorable deal, where the purchase rate is set at 12,160 soums.
Furthermore, the currency purchase price at banks such as Infinbank, Asia Alliance Bank, and Octobank is 12,170 soums. Since changes in the currency market occur rapidly, every citizen or entrepreneur is advised to re-verify the internal rates of the respective banks before exchanging funds.
This measure allows for the prevention of financial losses and the selection of the most profitable offer. It is observed that the general state of the market is changing for the better.
