New exchange rates from January 13: dollar and euro have appreciated

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan announced new exchange rates effective from January 13, 2025. According to the announcement, the following changes in the value of major currencies were observed:

The US dollar appreciated by 16.56 soums, setting the rate at 12,957.00 soums.
The euro increased by 9.29 soums, reaching 13,345.71 soums.
The British pound rose by 46.26 soums, reaching a level of 15,941.00 soums.
The Russian ruble was set at 127.77 soums (+0.92).
The Kazakh tenge decreased by 0.05 soums, now at 24.57 soums.

These changes in currency rates are noted to be related to the economic situation in domestic and foreign markets.
