
Small enterprises and microfirms play an important role in Uzbekistan's construction sector. This was reported by Upl.uz.
This can be stated based on the data from the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. From January to May 2025, these small business entities carried out construction works worth a total of 46.9 trillion soums.
This figure has increased by 7.7 percent compared to the same period in 2024. The shares of construction works in total volume during the period from the beginning of the year to May were distributed as follows: 52.6 percent in 2024 and 51.2 percent in 2025.
This data clearly shows the role and development of small enterprises and microfirms in the construction sector. It also emphasizes the need for additional measures to enhance their importance and competitiveness in the economy.
