According to the press service of the Samarkand region's Department of Internal Affairs, a person holding narcotic substances has been identified. This was reported by Upl.uz.
On July 20 of this year, at approximately 15:30, a "Malibu" brand vehicle was stopped at the permanent post of "Omonquton" located in the Urgut district of Samarkand region. While checking the driver's documents, the behavior of a passenger in the vehicle appeared suspicious.
Subsequently, a personal search of this individual was conducted in the presence of witnesses. As a result, one package wrapped in paper was found, which was determined to contain a narcotic substance known as "marijuana."
Relevant documents were formalized regarding this incident. The individual was detained and taken to the Urgut district Department of Internal Affairs for the initiation of investigative actions.
