Uzenergoinspeksiya's press service reported that another case of illegal use of natural gas has been identified. This was reported by Upl.uz.
Employees of the Namangan regional Uzenergoinspeksiya conducted raids in the city of Namangan. During the raids, it was found that the bakery belonging to entrepreneur A.F.D. was illegally connected to the network and using natural gas without the necessary documents.
According to the initial assessment of specialists, this crime caused material damage of more than 1 billion 5 million soums to the gas supply organization. All materials collected regarding this case have been submitted to law enforcement agencies.
Criminal liability for illegal actions is provided for under part 4 of article 169 of the Criminal Code (theft), which may result in a penalty of up to 15 years of imprisonment. Currently, preliminary investigation activities are underway.
