Additionally, based on the presidential decree, Colonel Ulugbek Shuhratovich Toshkhojayev has been appointed as the head of the Migration and Personnel Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Toshkhojayev had been serving as the director of the State Personnel Center under the Cabinet of Ministers since April 2021.
According to the IIV's announcement on March 11, this information about the two appointments was revealed during a meeting held at the ministry.
It should be noted that General-Major Aziz Toshpolatov, who had been managing the Tashkent city Internal Affairs Directorate, started working as the head of the IIV last week.
He replaced Polat Bobojonov, who had served as minister for 7.5 years. Bobojonov continues his career as the deputy advisor to the president on personnel policy. Shavkat Rahmonov, who was the first deputy in the IIV, has also been relieved of his position.
The Tashkent city Internal Affairs Directorate is now headed by former head of the Khorezm region's Internal Affairs Directorate, Colonel Ravshan Sultonxo'jayev.
