According to the report from the Road Traffic Safety Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Samarkand region, a driver was found to be in possession of narcotic substances and a homemade device intended for their consumption. This was reported by Upl.uz.
On July 30 of this year, at approximately 01:10, traffic police officers stopped a blue Matiz vehicle on the M-39 highway at the 1085th kilometer in the Tayloq district of Samarkand region. While checking the driver's documents, he exhibited suspicious behavior.
Subsequently, in the presence of witnesses, the driver and the vehicle were thoroughly inspected. During the inspection, a bag containing a green substance resembling marijuana was found in the driver's clothing pocket.
Additionally, a homemade device intended for consuming narcotic substances was discovered in his vehicle. Relevant documents were prepared regarding this incident against the driver.
He was detained and taken to the Tayloq district internal affairs department. Currently, investigative actions are underway.
